Type- I Hypersensitivity: Production
of IgE in Response to an Allergen

the body and is recognized by sIg on a B-lymphocyte.
The B-lymphocyte proliferates and differentiates into plasma cells that produce
and secrete IgE against epitopes of the allergen.
